Well . . . . the Norton's oil tank is leaking, cracked, so I have to drain, remove, clean, hot tank, braze/weld, repaint, etc.

Then there's the new to me plated KTM that awaits me hitting the buy button for a set of SM wheels . . . . but in the meantime if y'all wanna ride dirt . . .

That was smooth. No one even keyed up on the impending Orange and Black attack. For anyone who might have glossed over it, Norton John bought a KTM!!!

How's the bike? I had to view the pics at 4.6 % to see anything. Then it looks good.

It's fine, haven't really had a full day on it yet, just little squirts around town as I have yet to go into the DMV; went there to be confronted by lines around the building in 100* heat . . . . so I went home . . . My big incentive to close the deal was Tom & Frank's Labor Day ride which got cancelled. And now I'm dithering on a set of super motard wheels as they do come up from time to time on Craig's List for less than the $1000 I have to pay new. Not riding any bikes right now anyway. Too hot.

Wheeew. SO glad I didn't show up for that ride on my son's CRF230E. I thought it would be a perfectly safe, light, nimble and easy push button start, harmless, yet capable scooter for me to lightly try to get back into things on, taking in the scenery and riding around the campsite.

Now "NJ" casually leans back in his chair and burps out that he was packing serious gear, planning for an ambush of biblical proportions. :o

It would have been a horrible embarrassment to go home, him and bike all dirty, after a weekend of taking roost off the back of that happy little Honda.
