Terri and I saw Leave No Trace yesterday. Enjoyed it a lot. Grim. But life is grim, eh Tetge?
We wrapped up the critical doctor planning last Friday and became tourists for the weekend. We rode the Expo (Metro) Line from Terri's ghetto area to the Santa Monica final stop. Man, I MUST be getting old. It used to be that jeans/shorts ass-cheek short was all it took, but now I hate the look if the cheeks are not primo.
Saw too many 'non-primo' ass-cheeks yesterday...
Thug-mobiles. I thought Dodges had taken over, but the 5.0 GT's make the best sound IMHO. Near Terri's old house, the 5.0 GTs have modded exhausts and they wind them up. Music to my ears
The changing of the guard. Pikes Peak climb unlimited record is now held by an electric car. Until they figure out how to put a card in the spokes like on bicycles to make noise, I'm not interested. The sound is critical for me, dinosaur that I am.
The drama that is LeBron. I hope it works out for the Lakers. Not optimistic...
Can't wait to get home... we leave tomorrow morning, if the creek don't rise.

Re: Leave No Trace
LeBron has caused drama and dissent in other places in the past. He better realize that in Laker Land he isn't the big dog he was in Cleveland, and shitting all over Magic's yard is a no no
He might be King James, but Magic is the Grand Wizard in L.A. and will turn his ass into a Toad if he doesn't behave himself

We were downtown last night, at the Perch bar and restaurant, on top of a building catty corner from Pershing Square. No problem but kinda scary walking to and from parking lot. Nice summer evening. Good food too. We also heard some nice 5.0 sounds in the canyons of the city.

Re: Leave No Trace
While rehabbing, I listen to too much sports bs, and I am so tired of hearing what LeBron needs -- and that he is the king... It is hard to believe that 'he' was just
swept 4-0. I still think of b-ball as a team game, where the best players make the other players better. damn I sound like an old guy
