Re: Clippers!
Yes, hell is right. It was not reasonable to expect the Clips to take 2 at Houston. Houston seems to have earned this game.
Should be fun in LA

Re: Clippers!
As they say, the Clippers got the split that they hoped for at Houston. But, they folded so badly that it made Houston look like they could win the series easily. Now, it appears that Paul better be able to come back and play as he makes a big difference. In fact, he is almost too necessary, since there are really no quality backups to take his place. But, 1-1 when you begin at the opponent's court, missing your all start point guard, is not bad.

Re: Clippers!
To my great surprise, the Clippers bench came in and demolished Houston in the second half. And Austin Rivers went nuts. Now I have to wonder which Clippers will show up Sunday? And, another thing to note was that Blake had a terrible game and they still won in a blow out. Paul also played off and on for only about 15 minutes total, which, if he didn't hurt himself worse as he did not play a lot of minutes and he may be recovering. Now I have to wait until Sunday and keep my fingers crossed.

Re: Clippers!
The Clippers would be up by 20 if Jordan was only an average free throw shooter. I think that he has hit 11 of 28. So, it is not a fun game tow watch, but, I accept that if a team has a weakness, it is smart to exploit it. If they are small and you have a big advantage inside, you go inside. If they have someone who is a weak defender, you set plays to exploit that. And, if they have the world's worst free throw shooter, why not exploit that? I am not in favor of any rule changes to prevent intentional fouling unless they also make some rules to penalize teams that have superior three point shooters and some other rules to equal things out if one team is clearly superior to another. Otherwise, it is all part of the game, pretty or not.
Perhaps Houston will run out of fouls to give since they only have so many players. Meanwhile, with all the practice that he is getting, perhaps Jordan will find the range as he really is close on a lot of the missed free throws. But, the Clippers need to win this game and part of that could end up being based on coaching.

Re: Clippers!
This is McHale's loss. He tried a technique that failed 18 out of 20 times this year. He killed the Rocket rhythm.
And I think the refs are just tired of the Houston bs. They are a very rough team. Ariza is rough. People caught on to the Beard's running at people holding the ball out in front of him. If the Clips can stay smart about guarding him, game over. But what an ugly game.

Re: Clippers!
Clippers are -17 with him on the bench and +78 with him in the game, free throws and all. The Clips win most of the hack-a-Jorden games. I'd leave him in until the other team starts winning...
This game might cause a rule change. The rule change will stop coaches from taking the bait -- and I think that the refs are actually offended. Looked to me like the Clippers were getting all of the calls. They even stopped calling Barnes's fouls and he fouls every play...
What a demoralized team the Rockets ended up being. Of course none of this effects the next game...

Re: Clippers!
Now I have a place to brag about how well the Clippers are doing. But, wait............ After the complete fold in the last quarter of game 6, it appears that the old Clippers have returned. And, based upon the way they played, they don't deserve to go to the finals to lose to the Warriors.

Re: Clippers!
Even tho it was late here, I stayed up and watched and marveled at how different two teams can be from game to game. I have NO clue for game 7 -- well if history tells us anything maybe a leetle clue... I predict a Clippers win...
