RIP my older sis, Beth
She was 78, and died last Friday. She was a friend as well as a sister. Her heart stopped.

Sorry for the loss. James, and I know it hurts a lot from my personal experience, as my 17 month younger sister, who died of cancer about three years ago, was also my friend, and I miss her still.

yes, and had a strong sense of right and wrong. Still sang in the church choir, played the piano for special events, raised 'good kids', supported her grandkids. She was 'hard' regarding ethics. A good thing. She will be missed.xbacksideslider wrote:A nice long life.

Thanks, the support structure is good. and my brother and I who decided a couple of years to take a break from talking to each other are talking again. A benefit...xjrguy wrote:James,

in 1964 her husband and I got into a fist fight when I was mooching off them (but paying), both of us were injured (he was tougher than I thought...) and she said 'not my (her) problem'. I was impressed by that...

Re: RIP my older sis, Beth
We head home tomorrow morning. It has been a good, if somber, week. Caught up with family that we have not seen for a while. The nieces and nephews are good (and fun). Everyone behaved. Beth was appreciated by many folks.
We look forward to being home.
