I still am getting current reports of bare shelves at markets and wide spread shortages of items, at least in my hood. How are things in Mexico as compared to California? Also, how is the general situation as far as health care resources go, in Mexico, as it appears likely that the virus is going to hit the entire earth. Not that it would appear to make much difference in the long run, as statistical estimates have at least 80% of the world population contracting the virus, so it would appear to be pretty difficult to hide from, no matter where you are located. And, at least in California, and some other states, the disruption of business and life in general is also creating a stressful mess for most people, as governments try to slow the spread to "soften the blow".

I am ashamed to admit that I hold prejudiced views when it comes to Mexico. I also should note that this does not imply any hatred of the Mexican people, but, rather, reflects my cultural differences and expectations. The USA may not be any better, as people are people everywhere, but, many things are done differently for sure, including the spoken languages. It also has been a long time since I last traveled in Mexico, so I have no idea what it is like there anymore and perhaps the news reports that Mexico's health system is ill equipped to deal with a big virus outbreak is not correct.....

things seem to be 'ok'. I saw an article predicting doom, ? , San Miguel is empty. It survives on tourist revenue. AMLO the pres says get out there and party.

Last weekend was a little rough. This weekend was much easier and the stores seemed to be better stocked. My main challenge with 2 varmints in the house has been sourcing their preferred organic milk. By luck I have somehow run into some toilet paper at a few shopping trips, albeit one package per.

I still report to work so fingers crossed I don't catch anything undesireable.

As a sidebar, I met up with the famous RACEBRONCO last week for a few minutes. :-D
Cobra
GT500
Focus ST

We spent the day finding 'stuff'. It is said that Mexico is 'shutting down' soon.
Terri would not let me leave the car, seeing as I am 'at risk'.
We are still giving the staff paid time off. and finishing up unfinished chores.
 life is strange

Glad to hear the fam is doing good, Ron.

James, hope you guys are all stocked up down there.

We ventured out on Monday morning, and were pleasantly surprised to find everything we were looking for, including TP and eggs, which were both completely out of stock for a couple weeks. Work is still pretty busy. I guess we're lucky that our clients do "essential" work.

We are stocked. Terri is a machine

We are not accustomed to being cooped up, with NO break from each other. No Bueno...
I hope the marriage survives.
