'74 Suzuki TS125 Enduro Trail Bike PROJECT

Hey guys, this is not my bike. My neighbor has a bunch of bikes, and I noticed he left this one outside his garage last night, so I thought I'd check it out. Turned out it was for sale, so I snapped some pics to see if any of you guys wanted to pick up a project bike. His contact info is in the pics. If any of you are interested, just tell him Juan from the garage across the way gave you the info.

That is most definitely not perfect for me. I already have one bike that needs a little work to get running, and I've been busy putting the final touches on the Notch to sell it. After those two are done, I have to fix some issues with Rach's 250k-mile car so we can sell it, and get her into something with lower miles. I have no idea what it'll take to get this thing running, but that neighbor is always tinkering on one bike or another.

I would fulfill your request, but it's not outside anymore. Either he sold it, put it back inside, or it was stolen (not very likely in this neighborhood). I thought I'd see him today while I was in the garage working on the car, but he didn't make an appearance today. He's a nice guy. Seems like he'd fit in pretty well with the hooligans on this board. He rides often, cycling through the 2-3 running bikes he has.

So, nobody is interested in this fun little project? I saw the neighbor, Ian, yesterday. He still has it, and $400 is not his bottom dollar, though don't tell him I told you that. He says he got it as part of a deal for a piece of equipment, and just has too many other projects going on to spend time on this one. I think the front burner is pretty much reserved for an old Moto Guzzi he's restoring. $400 is what he says he has into it, and he's trying to recoup that, but expects he might lose a little on it.

No title, no plate. Not running and who knows how bad it is mechanically, but, it is unlikely that parts are readily available. From most vantage points, it is worthless.

All valid points. I haven't looked into how much one of those goes for in running condition. I suppose that bike is for someone with sentimental attachment to that particular model.

Top dollar at a dealership, according to KBB, in excellent condition, would be $845. But, excellent condition would mean a nearly perfect bike with all the stock stuff such as seat cover and definitely in perfect running condition with clear title, plate, and paperwork. There are collectors for vintage Japanese machines, some of which are highly coveted and quite valuable, but this one is marginal, at best.
