My car broke down on the driveway, and wont move anymore. How do i go about getting it repaired?

(the gears wont engage). Is the only way to get it towed:( ?

CHECK TRANSMISSION FLUID AS INTRUCTED ON DIPSTICK, ADD FLUID UNTIL IT IS ON THE LINE(ON THE DIPSTICK. SEE IF IT WILL ENGAGE. IF NOT YOU WILL HAVE TO TOW.

better get it out before they tag it. try to get someone with a car dolly. if its rear wheel drive, drop the driveshaft, and if its front wheel drive, raise the front upon a dolly and tow it from the front.
