2019 Bullitt

I like how it looks, and the performance sounds nice, but I couldn't see myself getting one. I'd rather buy a GT with both performance packs, and have the engine tuned myself. I'd get a color and wheels that I like better for less money.

That 18 front end still doesn’t do it for me.

$50K MSRP Mustangs irk me, as it was an entry level performance car, that you could add all available performance options to, for well under $40K, until 2018, when the cost of a base model with all the performance only options went up about $10K. I bet a new Bullitt will be more than twice as much out the door as my ex's 2001 was. And, although it sounded better than a 2001 GT, and had stiffer suspension, it was toast compared to my new 2001 SVT Mustang Cobra, which, was nice, but, not particularly fast in a straight line. It still remains a truth that the base Mustang is an inexpensive machine, and Ford squeezes a lot of profit out of dolling it up. But, one wonders, as they push into a new price range, if this is going to continue to succeed?

And, no, I would not want to have the new Bullitt, but, it is also nicely done, as far as I can see, and, 475 HP > 460 HP.
