I am going to go ahead and post this since Jay caught me by surprise, if any of you 03-04 owners start thinking about getting rid of your car, let me know.

I have been fighting to bring the SPF Cobra Rep into Mexico for 3 years now, and the car registration folks are wearing me out. Some Mexican official will end up owning it if it is not COMPLETELY legal (there are many shades of legal down here  ). It may end up as a USA-only car.

In any case, I am considering bringing in a clean, lightly modded 03-04 Terminator (if there is such a thing) as a "special occasions" Mexico car. I'm not in a rush, but the major projects will soon all be complete, and God knows I have to always have something stirring.

Wow, another chapter in automotive history here.

Congrats on the Jeep Rubicon. You will hopefully love it (I love mine)

I traded my 2010 GT500 in on my Rubicon Unlimited a couple years ago.

Great pictures of your Terminator. I still miss my 2004 Redfire.

Damn Walker.

Yup, the Rubicon is super fun - still getting accustomed to all it's little "Jeep-isms", like the window controls in the center console, etc. That, and people waving at me... I guess there has been an underground "Jeep Society" that waves at each other all these years and I never noticed?

But, alas, it is NO Terminator. :naughty:

Sad to hear it, but I understand priorities shift and needs change. At least you have tons of media, track documents, and other miscellaneous goodies to keep the memory going.

The end of an era is what Jay's departure from SoCal was. I don't think any of us have been to the track since. Dave sold his Coyote and went onto 2 wheels. Armando and I haven't been in over 2.5 years. I had some of the best times up at Willow dicking around with everyone, especially chasing my evil DSG clone around the windy tracks. Running HTM in the pouring rain is still probably one of my favorite car memories ever.

At least we still have the Forum. :violin:

My Ninja... I feel your pain. It's great news to hear that the DSG Terror will live on in good and capable hands. Though technology moves on, and cars become faster, with better handling, we will always have a special place in our hearts for the 03-04 Mustang Cobra. In inanimate group of objects managed to bring together this crazy cast of characters, and create bonds that transcend time and space. How often does that happen in this world? Not enough. Our Termis shall live on forever through the brotherhood we created because of them. Here's to the DSG! :obscene-drinkingcheers:

OK, so who's going to be the first to "pull the trigger" on a Hellcat?

This car really interests me but I think it's a bit too one dimensional. (not a bad thing just an opinion.)
