1973 Kawasaki F6

I actually have one of these in my garage back east.

a 1973 Kawasaki F6, single cylinder, rotary valve two stroke.

Damn bike is older than I am and is/was my first motorcycle.

Don't let Brakelate see that. He is a Kawasaki lover. I had a nice Kawasaki once, but, marital difficulties made me have to liquidate it..... It was a very nice motorcycle and I wish I could have kept it...

I was a Kawasaki guy. But, recently crossed over to the dark side.


I remember those two stroke dual sport bikes of the '70's. I had one even more rare and whacky than that...

It was an '76 Harley Davidson 125 2-stroke single! So what that it was back in the AMF days and that the thing was actually a bunch of cobbled together from Italy.

I've got pics of me jumping the thing off curbs around the block somewhere. Good quality black and white too, as I shot and developed the film as a high school project.

What a piece of shiat that was! Fouling plugs and bad electrics! ARgggggggg.
