This would be my new bike............

Post by xjrguy »

except is has no ABS.

For a self titled "touring bike" to not have ABS is ridiculous, especially at this price point.

If you want something that big, why not the St1300, v4. Cool bike.

My current bike is an 05 Yamaha FJR1300ABS. :-D

I like the look of the Victory, it's kinda heavy though and lack of ABS is a dealbreaker.

The FJR is paid off which is a good thing.

The FJR is so much superior to the Victory. Not even close. And, I am sure that it also handles a lot better and is a lot faster than the Victory as well. There is style and and then there is performance. And, I will take performance any day when it comes to actually going places in or on a vehicle. But, of course, I already ride a big twin, so.............

I agree, I am most likely not going to sell the FJR for a good long time.

I bought it for my birthday back in 2005.

Absolutely love this bike.

As Winnebago's go, the FJR is a fine choice. :auto-mysterymachine:

Seriously though, I have the Yamaha optional top case and it looks like a hibachi which is pretty funny.
